Free Stuff
I have been able to learn so much from the generosity of others. I think you would all agree that it is amazing the amount of free information available on the internet, which includes information for those of us who sew.
The information in books and videos that I have purchased have allowed me to understand and develop my free motion quilting. The free information and shared images of machine quilting have also been instructional and inspirational. That spirit of sharing and generosity motivated me to share some of my ideas with others. This site and my work are not as accomplished as others, for sure, but maybe you will find something here that helps you.
Paper-Piecing is the BOMB!
I love paper piecing or foundation piecing. I instantly fell in love with this technique of piecing, which lead to me trying to design some of my own paper-pieced patterns. These are here for you to use for your personal use.
Over the years I have taught informal groups how to paper-piece, or foundation piece. Below are links to instructions on how to paper-piece. You can also Google for others’ directions and video tutorials to guide your learning.
