This quilt was completed in 2010 and given as a gift.  The Carpenter Wheel design is one of my favorites and one I have made often.

Land Scape

Taking a class and learning something new is a great way for me to stretch my skills and creativity.  A dear quilting friend and I went to Aunt Annie's Quilts and Silks shop in Avon, Minnesota for a day-long class on landscape quilting.  Lucy Senstad is not only a wonderful artist, she is an excellent instructor.  It was a great day.  This landscape is one I did after I got home; I have yet to complete the one I started in class - which I like much more than this one.   To see a more close up look of my quilt click here.

This quilt goes together quickly and creates lots of great space to practice and develope free motion quilting skills.  This pattern is available as a free quilt pattern on my website.  To see some close up views of this quilt click here
